PSB Coaching Centre Lahore

PSB Coaching Centre, Lahore is a subordinate office of Pakistan Sports Board, which was established in 1962 within the Nishtar Park Sports Complex, Ferozepur Road, Lahore. The total area of the Centre was 144 kanals.

Office Block

Office block consists of three rooms in which the offices of Director and staff of the Center are located.

Sportsmen Hostel Building

A hostel building for 62-sportspersons was constructed in 1962 to provide boarding and lodging facilities to them. Earlier the capacity of accommodation was 62-sportspersons. In 2015 the facilities were upgraded and now this Centre can accommodate 90-sportspersons at a time.

Practicing Mini Halls

Two practicing Mini Halls measuring 50 x 40 feet each are used for indoor games for holding National Training Camps, Inter-Provincial youth tournaments and others school/colleges/Tehsil/District level competitions as well.

Squash Court

The existing Squash Court was constructed in 1985 to provide squash facility to the sportspersons of the region. Within limited resources, we got it repaired and maintained but with the passage of time, the wooden floor spoiled. At the moment to keep it up and meet the requirement its major repair and renovation has carried in 2020 and now Squash Court is now functioning for the promotion of squash in region.

Fitness Gym

This Centre has a suitable space to create a Fitness gym at 1^st Floor of mini-hall cum office building to provide fitness facility to the camp trainees. The fitness gym is required to equip well with the latest exercise machineries.

Cycling Velodrome

The Cycling Velodrome was constructed in 1952. In 2002, Pakistan Sports Board spent an amount of Rs.0.7 million on the repair/renovation of its track. Now, the structure of velodrome is in a dilapidated condition. Punjab Sports Board erected the iron fencing around the cycling velodrome. The last national level cycling event has held in 2020.
