Closing Ceremony of Inter-Board Sports Gala 2015 (Female)


Islamabad: February 22, 2015: The Closing ceremony of Inter Board Sports Gala 2015 (Female) held on 22-02-2015 at 1600 hours at Jinnah Stadium Pakistan Sports Board, Islamabad. Prof. Daud Memon, Chairman BISE Larkana was the Chief Guest of the Ceremony. In the Inter-Board Sports Gala 2015, BISE Faisalabad achieved the first position by winning 8-Gold, 1-Silver and 6 Bronze medals while BISE Gujranwala was the runner up by winning 4-Gold, 3-Silver and 1-Bronze medal. BISE Faisalabad won the trophy of Athletic, Badminton, Hockey Table Tennis and Volleyball events.  BISE Gujranwala was runner up in Athletics, BISE Sahiwal in Badminton, Table Tennis and Volleyball, BISE Lahore also remained runner up in Hockey. Pakistan Sports Board awarded medals and prize money to the winner (In individual events: Rs.7000/-, 5000/-, 3000/- and in Team events: Rs. 3500/-, Rs.2500/-, Rs.1500/- for 1st, 2nd and 3rdpositions holders respectively).

Dr. M. Akhtar Nawaz Ganjera, Director General, Pakistan Sports Board and the Chief Guest distributed trophies, shields and cash prizes to the winners. All the representatives of the Inter-Board were awarded shields in appreciation of their cooperation and coordination. The Organizing Secretary of Inter-Board Sports Gala – 2015 thanked the DG, PSB for its well organization of the Tournament. Director General, PSB announced that PSB shall organize a training camp for the all the winners of the tournaments and the teams will be sent to China shortly. The boys and girls of the participating Board shall be considered for inclusion in the national teams.

In the closing ceremony, a number of sports officials, officers of the Pakistan Sports Board, Ministry of IPC and all educational boards were presented on the occasion. Today’s result of the Inter-Board Sports Gala 2015 (Female) is as under:-
