Islamabad: October 21, 2014: The Director General, PSB called on a meeting of Honorary Secretaries of National Sports Federations regarding training and participation of Pakistani contingent in the forthcoming South Asian Games.

Amjid Amin Butt, Honorary Secretary (Weightlifting), Syed Azhar Ali Shah, Honorary Secretary (Cycling), Masood Ahmed, Honorary Secretary (Judo), Ch. Muhammad Asghar, President (Wrestling), Malik Iftikhar Ahmed, President (Wushu), Major (R) Majid Waseem, President (Swimming), Syed Naqi Mohsin, Sr. Vice President (Badminton), Iqbal Hussian,Honorary Secretary (Boxing) and Kifayat ullah Khan , Honorary Secretary (Tennis) were attended the meeting.

All the participants of the meeting came up with in detail proposals covering financial requirements, provision of foreign coaches, requirement of sports equipment, and training competitions tours in and abroad.

It has been decided that training camps for preparation of the games will be organized in three categories for juniors, seniors and youth players
It was decided on the request of Secretary Boxing Federation that boxing camp will be started from 22nd October, 2014 in Quetta & Karachi simultaneously whereas Foreign Coaches will be arranged from Cuba/Kazakhstan for Judo Coach from Iran/China will be arranged. Secretary Wrestling, Secretary Wushu also demanded a foreign coach Iran/China. DG, PSB accepted the demands and issued orders for necessary arrangements of foreign coaches and promised training of wrestling and Wushu players.
