Three-member Disciplinary Committee to hear Doping Appeals of Bodybuilders & Cyclists


A Three-member Disciplinary Committee will hold meeting in order to look in to the dope test results of national athletes of bodybuilding and cycling on January 17 in Lahore.

In a press release the Spokesperson of PSB, Faik Ali Chachar said "Anti- Doping Organization of Pakistan (ADOP) has constituted a three-member committee under the chairmanship of Syed Amir Hamza Gillani, DG PSB with Idris Hadider Khawaja, Secretary Cycling Federation and Sheikh Farooq, Secretary Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation as members who will review and determine the dope tests reports of the two bodybuilders and three cyclist on Monday January 17 at 10 a.m. at PSB Coaching Centre Lahore".

He said by reviewing the results of dope tests, the inquiry committee of ADOP would fix the responsibility after the individual hearing of athletes who were tested positive of using prohibited substances. The tests were randomly conducted during their respective national championships. The Chairman of the committee will brief the media about the deliberations and findings of the committee.
