8. Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Federal Minister for IPC today enquired about health condition of Mr. Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan on Sports, Culture and Tourism on phone. Mr. Hazara, who tested positive for Covid-19, is admitted and getting treatment in local hospital at Karachi. Dr. Fehmida prayed Almighty Allah for his early recovery enabling him to resume his office. 11th June, 2020

The coronavirus is affecting all over the world including Pakistan. The people in almost all the countries are exposed to serious health and economic challenges in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic. In this scenario, Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Federal Minister for IPC and President, Pakistan Sports Board took the initiative to provide grants-in-aid to the affiliated National Sports Federations (NSFs) to mitigate the sufferings of the sportspersons.
